SURI GROUP has been engaged
in the Leather Products Sector for the last 5 decades. In the early days, when
the country was looking for enterprising young people, the Suri brothers, set
up a small business manufacturing industrial leather. Dedication, hard work and

CUTTING DEPART
Selection of
leather:
Most
important is selection of leather for
cutting component of shoe upper. Anti
mortem and post mortem defect check in leather, colour, thickness, and
selection of area of leather according to part shoe for example butt portion is right for vamp
component.
Selection of
dyes:
Dyes made from metal. Dyes
are use to according article of shoe and
different type of component for example vamp, quarter, vamp lining, quarter
lining, insole, counter, stiffener and toe puff etc.
Use machines
in cutting depart:
Many types machines are use
in cutting depart according work for example leather component cutting
machines, fabric component cutting machine, splitting machine, skiving machines
etc.
Types of
cutting machine:
Swing Arm Cutting Press: The starting point in our
die cutting range with a huge range of uses and applications across
manufacturing industry. Also known as clicking presses or clicker presses.
These machines are safe and simple to operate with the operator having only to place the material on the bed of the press, position the cutting tool on the material and press the twin, operating buttons. The beam descends under hydraulic power to cut the required cut shape from single or multiple layers of material.
To assure maximum access and visibility, the swing arm can be easily moved (or swung) to one side by the operator in order to gather cut pieces and re-position the tool for the next cut.
